pre-release party

On June 28, 2005, On the Page held a cocktail party at Swig in San Francisco. Over 75 people gathered to help us celebrate the pre-release of our premiere print issue on shared spaces.

The festivities featured work by photographer Greg Roden (www.grphoto.net), whose photos of San Francisco dive bars highlight our current issue. Among other activities, our guests named their favorite places in the city and suggested possible themes for future issues of On the Page. Some of the topics suggested:

partnerships
unrequited love
underwater
underwear
bad taste
balconies
dating coworkers
sex
indignities
heights
motorcycles
happenstance

Inspired by this list, OtP selected the following themes for upcoming issues:

mavericks
faith and chance
unfinished business
